Modern Romance at True South: Bridie & Florian’s Bayside Wedding
When it comes to bayside wedding flowers, Bridie and Florian’s day at True South Black Rock was the perfect example of modern romance meets relaxed coastal vibes. From the moment we chatted about their vision, we knew this wedding would be full of personality, colour, and joy - a celebration that was both stylish and heartfelt.
A Ceremony Full of Texture and Colour
The ceremony space was set with our gold circular arbour, softened with romantic draping florals in rich berry tones, dusty blush, and pops of creamy white. Lush roses, trailing amaranthus, vibrant dahlias, and eucalyptus created movement and contrast, paired with soft candlelight for a little extra magic.
Above the couple, we installed a hanging floral feature to add drama and intimacy to the open space. This moment was a standout, dramatic without being fussy, just like Bridie had asked for.

True South Black Rock: A Dream Reception Location
The reception took place at True South, right on the edge of the water in Black Rock. It’s one of our favourite venues for bayside weddings — open, bright, and full of natural beauty (and a killer food and drinks menu). The styling carried through with warm, romantic tones and florals placed thoughtfully throughout the space.
Florals were featured on the cake (how cute is that semi-naked finish with blooms tucked just so?), and the room had subtle touches of texture and colour to bring everything together without overpowering the vibe.
